Today is one year since my brother-in-law stopped drinking. His wife invited us and other family members over to celebrate. We brought a couple of gifts and a card and told him how proud we are of him. It was really good and I thought it was brilliant of his wife to plan this little get together for him, so show that his family supports him. We are proud of you, Dean!

Congratulations to your brother-in-law for remaining sober for a year. I've never dealt with an addiction in my life, but I'm always glad to hear of others who meet them head on and conquer them!
